After long train journeys to Cologne (always on the same train with the same destination) both discovered that -although coming from different musical backgrounds - they shared common interests in music, architecture and art: an extensive exchange of books, records, ideas as well as own music followed. They decided to work together on future music projects. Èonta's music is beyond any categorization, if one had to describe it, the term digital music would be the most appropriate. Everything can be used as a source of inspiration and for that matter, as sound material. Processed through part -self-compiled software noises/sounds voices are fragmented and put together again in Èonta's compositions. Èonta is a media/music/art collective producing music/ 3d-2d visuals/ webdesign/ screendesign/ digital films. Their first project was "Essen Elektronisch", a digital music/visuals event which took place in Essen (Kokerei Zollverein) in the 3rd of October 2003.
